川剧变脸是四川传统戏剧艺术——川剧中最具代表性的表演技艺之一，以其迅捷多变的面部妆容转换而闻名，被誉为“东方魔术”。变脸源于川剧的特定角色（如《白蛇传》中的法海或《三国演义》中的人物），通过演员在舞台上瞬间变换脸谱，表现角色的情感变化、性格转折或剧情高潮，极具视觉冲击力和艺术感染力。

川剧变脸的技艺根植于巴蜀文化的深厚土壤，融合了神秘、夸张与灵动的美学特色。表演者通过精妙的手法、道具和特殊训练，在眨眼间完成脸谱的切换，脸谱色彩艳丽，图案各异，象征人物的喜怒哀乐或善恶忠奸。这种技艺不仅要求演员身手敏捷，还需与川剧的唱腔、身段、锣鼓节奏完美配合，展现出巴蜀文化的热情奔放与细腻灵动。
