Over the past month, there has been a brief "altseason," something that hasn't happened in more than a year. This usually happens before the market gains strength to sustain this phenomenon for months.
It is said, following Blockchain Center's definition, that there is an altseason when 75% of the 50 largest capitalization cryptocurrencies outperform bitcoin (BTC) in 90 days. The term refers to the combination of the word "altcoins" (digital currencies not counting BTC) and "season".
