**02, further refinement, Shanghai clarifies the two main directions of metaverse **
At the end of May, Huang Zhaoying, global vice president of HTC, said in an interview with The Paper: "People tend to perceive industry trends from media reports. In the past six months, there have been many negative reports on the metaverse, but I don't agree with the statement that the metaverse is cooling down."
Huang Zhaoying said that the criticism of Metaverse from the outside world mainly comes from the problems in the development of the industry leader Meta. As an industry insider, he believes that the application scenarios of Metaverse are very extensive, far beyond virtual communities or games in the eyes of the outside world. With the accelerated development of industry technology, more and more manufacturers have joined the metaverse track. "We are very optimistic about this, and there are many projects in progress at present."
He said that the bottom layer of the metaverse is the integration of all related technologies such as VR, AR, 5G, AI, and blockchain, so AI is one of the bottom technologies for building the experience of the metaverse.
In fact, the exploration around metaverse technology and applications has been going on all the time, especially as Apple released the long-awaited first MR device Apple Vision Pro this year, more and more companies have further strengthened their XR immersive Feasibility of space paths.
