Dortmund is preparing to host one of Europe’s most influential gatherings for innovation and emerging technologies as CONF3RENCE 2025 returns on September 3–4 at Signal Iduna Park. The event, which will welcome more than 4,000 participants, 120 international speakers, and over 150 partners and exhibitors, aims to strengthen the dialogue between cutting-edge technology and real-world industry applications.

Bridging Innovation and Industry

Under the motto “Where Innovation Meets Industry”, CONF3RENCE brings together tech pioneers, policymakers, business leaders, and academics to explore the practical potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Web3. Across three stages, the program features over 60 keynotes, workshops, and masterclasses showcasing use cases and forward-looking strategies.

Organizers Sascha Röhrer and Malte Baumann emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing global challenges: “Digitalization, decarbonization, and global competitiveness require joint solutions. CONF3RENCE demonstrates how AI, blockchain, and Web3 can deliver measurable impact for businesses and society across Europe.”

Global Voices and Networking Opportunities

This year’s lineup includes representatives from major global players such as IBM, Meta, Cardano, Fujitsu, and the European Central Bank. In addition to the conference sessions, CONF3RENCE will host exclusive networking opportunities, from one-on-one matchmaking and investor evenings to hackathons and innovation challenges designed to connect top talent with industry leaders.

A highlight will be the Startup Award, spotlighting Europe’s most promising tech ventures and building on last year’s edition, which unlocked more than $8 million in funding opportunities.

A Hub for Europe’s Digital Future

As the flagship event of Dortmund’s Digital Week (DIWODO), CONF3RENCE plays a central role in driving digital innovation in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond. In 2024, DIWODO attracted more than 10,000 visitors and 200 side events, underlining Dortmund’s growing role as a hub for technological progress.

With 82% of attendees in leadership positions, the event offers a unique platform for decision-makers to shape the future of digital transformation in Europe.
