Jin10 Data July 26 - A senior U.S. government official said Friday that the Trump administration plans to distribute more than 5 billion Dollars to public schools, funds that have been held for nearly a month. This alleviates the ongoing concerns and uncertainties of school leaders that have persisted for weeks, who pointed out that the freeze on the funds could threaten programs and staff hiring for the upcoming school year. The U.S. government reviewed about 7 billion Dollars in funds on June 30, and then released 1.3 billion Dollars of it last week. The official stated that the government’s review of the remaining funds has concluded. Republican Congressman from Nebraska, Don Bacon, celebrated the move on social media, indicating that he was the one who pushed for the release of these funds. "They announced exciting news! All the educational funds that were frozen have been unfrozen for the upcoming school year."
