🟢 Despite the criticism regarding the delays, former SEC attorney Marc Fagel stated, "The lawsuit will not extend to 2026 as many are concerned."
🟢 According to Fagel, both Ripple and SEC are preparing to withdraw their appeals, and at that point, the financial penalties will take effect immediately.
🟢 He also dismissed the possibility of changing the law in the future that could invalidate the conclusion that Ripple violated the law at the time of the incident.
