1. VIXY fell by 4.09%, closing at 41.77.
2. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit new highs, with small-cap stocks leading the gains. The S&P 500 Index closed up 0.78%, setting a new closing historical high. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 1.14%. The Nasdaq closed up 0.61%, also setting a new closing historical high.
3. Nvidia rose by 2.25%, Meta Platforms increased by 1.24%, while Amazon, Tesla, and Microsoft rose by at most 0.36%. Apple, on the other hand, fell by 0.12%, and Google A dropped by 0.58%.
4. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 0.75%. Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Xiaoma Zhixing rose by 7.7%, Wenyan Zhixing increased by 5.2%, Tencent was up by 4%, and Pinduoduo rose by 3%.
5. Texas Instruments fell more than 13%, impacted by tariffs on its chip business, and the company's guidance was below expectations.
