💰 Companies continue to actively buy up $ETH
Mining company BitMine Immersion Technologies has become the largest public holder of Ethereum, overtaking SharpLink. It has 300,657 ETH worth over $1 billion on its balance sheet. The firm raised $250 million in a private placement, but has deployed three times that amount to buy the cryptocurrency. Ethereum accumulation began in late June. BitMine said the ultimate goal is to acquire and juice 5% of the total offering of the second most capitalized cryptocurrency.
Earlier, SharpLink reported owning 280,706 ETH worth about $962 million. Both companies own more ether than the Ethereum Foundation.
