Strategy announced a new Bitcoin purchase on record day.
Strategy, known for its Bitcoin purchases since 2020, announced that it bought 4,225 Bitcoins between July 7 and July 13. A total of 472.5 million dollars was paid for the BTCs. The average purchase price was 111,827 dollars.
600 thousand exceeded for the first time
With this purchase, the company led by Michael Saylor now holds a total of 601,550 Bitcoins. A total of 42.8 billion dollars has been paid for all Bitcoins so far. The average of all purchases has also risen to 71,268 dollars.
The company formerly known as Microstrategy has been regularly purchasing Bitcoin since August 2020.
