China has already answered whether it has invited Trump to participate in the military parade in September! On the 30th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning responded to claims by Japanese media that China has invited Trump to the parade. Mao Ning stated that China will invite foreign leaders, but regarding Trump, there is currently no specific news to share. To put it plainly, whether to invite him or whether he will come is still undecided. I think there’s no problem with the invitation, after all, China and the US fought against fascism together back then and put in a lot of effort; history speaks for itself. But if they don’t invite him, that’s also quite normal; it’s a matter of who they want to invite to their own parade, which is only right. Moreover, if they really do invite him and he comes, that would certainly be better, at least it would create more opportunities for communication and let him see the spirit of our Chinese soldiers, as well as how the country has developed over the years—seeing is believing.
