Jinshi Data, September 15th news, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly warned security officials in a strategic discussion on Thursday that Israel is facing a "major confrontation" with the Hezbollah in the north of the country, as it is still difficult to find a diplomatic solution to the almost daily cross-border conflicts with the Lebanese Hezbollah. Netanyahu believes that a full-scale war in Lebanon would not weaken the Israeli military's ability to exert military pressure on Hamas in the Gaza Strip, but Defense Minister Gantz reportedly is not so certain about this. Gantz stated that although the Israeli military is indeed prepared to launch a war against Hezbollah, this would require reducing forces in Gaza and could potentially harm the chances of rescuing hostages.
