The score for approval of applications for children to take care of their parents is 60 points. The applicant must be between 18 and 59 years old, and their parents in Hong Kong or Macao must be over 60 years old and have no children in Hong Kong or Macao to meet the approval criteria. The score for approval of applications for children to join their parents is 1 point. The applicant must be under 18 years old, and both parents must be settled in Hong Kong or Macao to meet the approval criteria. The score for approval of applications for parents to join their children is 1 point. The applicant must be over 60 years old and have no children in mainland China. They need to join their children who are over 18 years old and settled in Hong Kong or Macao to meet the approval criteria.
