The Russian side suggested a ceasefire of 24-48 hours along the contact line.

Jin10 Data reported on July 24 that on the local time of the 23rd, Russian presidential assistant Mezhinsky stated after the third round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine that both sides are currently exchanging 250 prisoners each, which is the last batch agreed upon in the second round of talks. Russia has returned over 7,000 bodies to Ukraine, and if Ukraine has enough refrigeration equipment, the Russian side will return an additional 3,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers. The Russian side reiterated the suggestion to implement a ceasefire for 24-48 hours along the contact line to allow both sides to recover bodies and evacuate the injured. Both sides agreed to conduct another exchange of over 1,200 people in the near future. Additionally, the Russian side suggested establishing three working groups on political, humanitarian, and military issues, and the Ukrainian side promised to consider this suggestion.
