Deutsche Bank: US CPI data likely to confirm The Federal Reserve (FED)'s wait-and-see stance

Gate News bot, Commerzbank researcher Rainer Guntermann said in a note that the U.S. inflation data released on Wednesday should confirm the Fed's wait-and-see attitude.

"These data will reinforce the Fed's wait-and-see stance ahead of next week's policy decision, as the impact of higher tariffs remains limited at this time," Guntermann said. "According to LSEG, money markets are fully pricing in the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged on June 18. They also expect a more than 50% chance of a rate cut in September.
