Nasdaq withdraws application for BTC and ETH spot ETF options
BlockBeats news, on August 16th, according to TheBlock report, Nasdaq has withdrawn two applications for listing and trading BTCSpot and Ethereum Spot ETF Options, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website. At the same time, NYSE also withdrew the listing and trading applications for Bitwise and Grayscale BTCSpot ETF Options on the same day. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart said he expects Nasdaq and NYSE to resubmit applications for listing BTCSpot ETF Options in the coming days or weeks. According to previous reports, other exchanges also withdrew similar applications last week. MIAX, MIAX Pearl, and BOX Exchange withdrew proposals for listing BTCSpot ETF Options, and Chicago Options Exchange withdrew the listing application for BTCSpot ETF Options, but later resubmitted the application. SEC has not yet approved the trading of Options products based on BTCSpot and Ethereum Spot ETF.
